Dr. Scott Hahn

We are honored to announce that Dr. Scott Hahn will be the keynote speaker for our Investiture Weekend in West Virginia. Dr. Hahn is a distinguished Catholic theologian, author, and speaker, renowned for his profound insights into Scripture and the Catholic faith.

Dr. Hahn earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Philosophy, and Economics from Grove City College in 1979. He continued his theological studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, obtaining a Master of Divinity in 1982. In 1995, he completed his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology at Marquette University, with a dissertation titled “Kinship by Covenant: A Biblical Theological Analysis of Covenant Types and Texts in the Old and New Testaments.”

Since 1990, Dr. Hahn has been a faculty member at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, holding the Father Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization. He is also the founder and president of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, an apostolate dedicated to promoting biblical literacy among Catholics.

Dr. Hahn has authored numerous influential books, including “Rome Sweet Home,” “The Lamb’s Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth,” and “Hail, Holy Queen.” His works delve into various aspects of Catholic theology, making complex concepts accessible to a broad audience.

We are privileged to have Dr. Hahn share his wisdom and experiences during our Investiture Weekend. His participation promises to enrich our event, offering attendees a unique opportunity to engage with one of the leading voices in contemporary Catholic theology.
